![]() You could use an amplifier on the master FX channel or something like that and keep your windows volume, but then you'd end up with a quiet export.Īfter that it's just a matter of turning down tracks so you don't hit red in the master channel. Since there shouldn't be clipping in LMMS at this point, you don't have to turn the volume down in it. If LMMS is too loud for comfortable listening when master hits around the upper green/yellow area I personally tend to turn my windows volume down. I could be confusing the two though, or just wrong. I can't exactly fault someone for using master volume, but IIRC there are weird problems that happen if you shift the master FX slider. Personally I'd leave the master volume and master FX volume as they are. You also end up with a ton of volume controls adjusted (master, master fx, windows) This is mostly good advice, but what's with the weird volume settings? I don't see why you'd turn the master volume so low if you have to turn both the master FX channel and your Windows volume up afterwards to compensate. Sorry if these instructions suck, lmms is hard to explain clearly. lmms just can't handle when attack or release are at 0 i guess. make sure the shape is green/ at 100% effect. put other knobs like hold and sustain at 100 so they don't mess with your sound, unless you'd like to mess worth em lol. 1 (sorry I'm not at comp now or id give you better details). If it's a popping sound at the beginning/end of each note played - for triple oscillator and other samples with the envelope tap (the second tab when you open a instrument/sample), you can adjust the attack and release of your sample. If some samples are super quiet consider adding an amp in the fx tab of a sample make sure you have lmms turned up to 100% in your computer's volume mixer and your computers master volume to 100%. Open the mixer (a bunch of sliders) and turn the master volume in there as high as you can before it starts sounding bad. turn down the master volume at the top of your project to 4% or whatever the lowest is. ![]() If it sounds like one of those shitty bass boosted songs - Ive always had issues with LMMS clipping.
